The Firm: A long-established and highly accomplished law firm with a strong NW England presence in the fields of Company Commercial, M+A, Property, Employment, Litigation and Private Client.

The Role: A Marketing 'Officer (or 'Junior Marketing Manager’) post, reporting to the Managing Partner and working across the full marketing mix and for all of the firm’s service areas. The key responsibilities fall into the usual categories of communications, CRM, digital lead-generation campaigns, BD/Partner support, events and networking. There are also some exciting creative and brand-development projects coming up in 2018. You will have a small team to supervise. Travel to the firm’s satellite offices will occasionally be necessary.

The Ideal Candidate will be a qualified marketer (Marketing-based degree, CIM Dip and/or MBA) who has a minimum three years’ marketing - perhaps but not necessarily managerial - experience within a professional services (ideally a law) firm. The role may suit a rising star who is presently at Marketing Exec’ or 'Senior Exec’ level but has their career aspirations blocked and now feel they are ready to make that first jump to the Manager’s hot seat elsewhere.

To be considered you must of course be comfortable working in a busy and challenging Partner-based organisational setup. First-class communication skills - written and verbal - are essential as are strong digital campaign, affiliate marketing, events management andCRM capabilities. You will need to be flexible, patient and dynamic - occasionally all at the same time! - and able to liaise effectively with colleagues, staff, supplier agencies and the firm’s clients.
