As part of a phase of significant growth, we are currently expanding our software testing teams in our issuing and acquiring products. You will be play a key part in supporting the delivery of high quality software solutions that meet our customers’ needs. This is achieved by working closely with all other teams within the Technology department, as directed by the Head of QA and Test.
We currently have opportunities for both Manual and Automation Test Engineers and we test code in both C# and Java, so experience in an object orientated programming language would be desirable.
You will be responsible for carrying out the following:·Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.·Identify test requirements and user stories from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.·Develop, document and maintain manual test procedures.·Create, execute and maintain automated tests. ·Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.·Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.·Quality assure all documentation. ·Working with and maintaining industry-leading, automated testing environments capable of functional, regression, performance and security testing against daily builds.·Hands-on Integration testing of diverse system components.·Logging and categorising defects, liaising with development and users to investigate faults and implement fixes using the JIRA issue tracking system.·Maintaining and contributing to comprehensive documentation for testing activities for the benefit of the QA and Test team.In addition, we are looking for team players who play an active role in driving continuous improvement in the team and the company’s products and processes. Ideally you will have working knowledge of functional and non-functional testing and experience with continuous integration systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins or Maven. We currently practise agile methodologies working with web application domains in cloud hosted environments. WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN:
Basic salary will be awarded based simply on what you bring to the business. We are a fair employer who believes strongly in a close relationship between performance and reward. However, an indication of basic salary is always useful, so our expectations are in the region of £35,000 to £50,000 per annum.
