Your role will be hands-on, engaging, and supportive in driving throughour continuous improvement and ensuring that testing is at the forefrontof all change within your team and communities. You'll proactively champion quality throughout the delivery lifecyclewhile collaborating with your team to deliver high quality systemchange. You'll be involved in planning, designing and executing testsincluding overseeing and contributing to the development and maintenanceof test automation frameworks and test suites. What will it take?The role requires you to take accountability for quality by defining thescope of testing and overseeing the quality of delivery. As a QualityEngineer representative you may be working independently in teams andyou will need to influence other technical disciplines in qualitypractices and processes. You'll also play an active role in supportingand growing capabilities across the wider quality community.Various technologies are used for the insurance systems at BGL, soexperience of different technologies would be an advantage. We pick theright tool to meet our needs when driving continuous improvement withinpractices such as TDD and Continuous Integration using tools likeSelenium, Postman, SoapUI, Jmeter, Bamboo.Experience in the following is essential: Hands-on software test planning, design and execution within an agile working environment including both exploratory and automated testing Functional and non-functional testing Ability to engage and collaborate with different technical disciplines Ability to influence, coach and mentor to increase quality and test capabilities Ability to balance multiple work streams within a fast pace, demanding environment A passion for quality and genuine interest in delivering quality software Why choose us?You'll be part of leading quality awareness and change in an innovativeand exciting business technology division.
