JOB: MARKETING MANAGER (Pharmaceutical Marketing, Marketing Manager, Product Manager, Marketeer)

LOCATION: SCOTLAND - Head Office Based

- The role of Marketing Manager is a key role within this evolving and expanding global pharma organisation who are enjoying year on year growth across the product portfolio
- Working within a vibrant office environment, you will be reporting to the Marketing Director and will be working in highly visible, accountable, strategic role
- At this point, the company are entering exciting pre-launch phase with an array of development and in-licensed global products which will join an already successful product portfolio. The focus is currently products for Oncology, Palliative Care/Supportive Cancer Care, Bone Health; however, the full product portfolio is much broader
- This role covers the UK & Ireland (Eire/Republic and Northern Ireland)


You will be working with a broad spectrum of products at various points of the life-cycle. You will also be involved with pre-launch activities as well as established brands and line extensions. You can expect this will be a challenging role so we are seeking a strong individual who can share ideas and make an impact on the wider business. General duties include but are not limited to:

- Creation and implementation of strategic marketing plans and project managing implementation
- Managing budgets
- Sales forecasting and continuous market intelligence gathering
- Working in a matrix environment including sales management team, medical, regulatory, supply chain and legal
- Successful implementation of tactical marketing activities
- Gather continuous intelligence on each product's performance, competitors, and customer attitudes, proposing appropriate actions as the market environment for your product changes
- Develop and maintain a close interface with sales management and the customer facing field force
- Maintain full accountability for the correct and effective management of all budgets associated with your portfolio


- Due to the breath and scope of this role, we are ideally seeking applications from Candidates currently working within the pharmaceutical industry with a track record in both sales and marketing
- Based on this you are likely to hold a degree (life sciences or marketing)
- Be ABPI qualified
- Have some exposure to the brand management cycle
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Have a proven ability to assimilate and simplify both clinical and economic information and data
