You'll be based from their head office location, just two minutes from the beach and on direct train routes to London. This role requires strong front end skills and website examples to show at interview. If you have worked with any eCommerce platforms this will be highly advantageous. Your new role The organisation is currently outsourcing project work and wants to reverse this process. Your role will surround liaising with the digital agency and gradually taking ownership of all things development for the company. You'll need a broad understanding of web technologies and will understand the importance of constant communication with the creative teams in the business. Project wise you'll start by gaining an understanding of the internal site and working under the guidance of the design and marketing teams will begin to scale changes and take ownership over core web projects. There are new greenfield opportunities planned as the company diversifies and continues to disrupt the market. You'll have a high level of influence in the use and selection of technologies moving forward but will understand this is a long term investment and a gradual process. What you'll need to succeed The parameters of the role are not completely set so there is an element of flexibility in the skill set. You will be proficient with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and must have high quality, responsive work examples to talk through at interview. Knowledge of eCommerce technologies will be standout. From a wider standpoint experience with UX, SEO, PHP and the Adobe Creative Suite could all be utilised in this position. You must be invested in joining a business with a social, outgoing culture including regular staff events and sports outings.
