Marin Software’s Customer Analytics department is agile, high-performing team that serves as the central nervous system of the Customer Success organization. The team’s mission is to improve customer retention and increase customer value through data, technology, and a concise approach to process management. This is driven by a focus on operational efficiencies, cross-departmental collaboration, and customer intelligence.

The team is in need of a passionate data driven developer with analytical mindset to support the day-to-day operations of the team and contribute to software development projects including enhancing inhouse open source tools, data analysis, automation, code and data QA. A successful candidate will be a self-starter who is eager to learn, is comfortable with ambiguity, and has demonstrable experience in website programming, data analysis, and business intelligence skills. This person will be working within a small team and will have opportunities to learn and gain exposure to a variety of systems, tools (internal and vendor-based), and processes, within the Customer Analytics department.

Responsibilities

Software Development - 80%

    Support the development of internal SaaS and analytical web-based toolsContribute to frontend website design and development (Bootstrap + JavaScript and its libraries)Contribute to backend software development (Django, Python)Automate the tasks as needed by organisationContribute to PRDs and feature development strategy as needed
Data Analysis - 20%

    Fulfill ad-hoc data requestsSupport QA activities across several systems - both data and code (room for automation)Query databases (MySQL, APIs)
Requirements

    Minimum 1 year of coding experience with Python. Web development and Django knowledge would be a big plus.Minimum 1 year of SQL experience.Statistics knowledge is a bonusInterest in Frontend development, data visualisation and UXInterest in problem solving, building tools and automating tasks
