Senior Full-Stack Developer

To support our significant and continuing growth strategy, we are looking for a brilliant Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead, build and further develop our core IT infrastructure.

  • Experience in PHP, OOP, SQL and MySQL, Amazon AWS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Experience of working with Yii Framework desirable
  • Data migration, transformation and scripting
  • High focus on security and data protection
  • Passion for discovering and solving problems in all areas of technology
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload
  • Practical use of VCS specifically Git/BitBucket
  • Ability to work with legacy code
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong full lifecycle project management skills
  • RESTful web service experience
  • Your key tasks will include:

  • Troubleshooting technical issues and developing robust solutions
  • Participate in discussions and planning around system architecture
  • Building, maintaining and coding architecture that supports the businesses needs
  • Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power web applications
  • Design and implement software and hardware architecture
  • Working with business users and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and producing strong technical briefs
  • Overseeing the development and integration of the front-end and back-end components of the internal system and web applications
  • Good knowledge of Object Orientated Programming and design patterns
  • Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards
  • Define development processes and tooling
  • Liaising with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features
  • Managing and building a small internal team and liaising with outsourced suppliers
  • Collaborating with other technologists to share development solutions, experiences, challenges and best practices
