About the role

A SQL / BI Developer is required for a large motoring organisation and will be based in Newcastle and will be a great chance to secure an exciting within the team and focusing on a migration to a new Microsoft Power BI solution therefore a solid background in Microsoft SQL query writing, report development and other off the shelf and custom reporting systems is required

About you

Essential Skills

Microsoft SQL Server - Writing SQL queries, T-SQL, SSIS, SSMS

Database administration

Use of ODBC

SSRS or PowerBI experience is required

Desirable Skills

Experience working within the motor industry or large volume of sales data

Experience with other BI solutions such as Infor BI

Working with Kerridge/CDK dealer management systems

VB.NET

A basic understanding of PHP both procedural and object orientated code, previous experience with the MVC design pattern and PHP frameworks such as Codeigniter.

A basic understanding of CSS, HTML, Javascript, JSON, and JQuery

Apache and Linux webserver administration
