An outstanding opportunity at the leading organisation within life science industry.

We are seeking Resource Management Leader to manage a team of up to 30 staff and be responsible for sourcing and coordination of contract and freelancer resource when internal resources are fully occupied.

Location: Buckinghamshire - suitable for someone residing in London, Middlesex, Berkshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire or for someone looking to relocate. Please note the site is very difficult to reach via public transport

Salary: Competitive

Role Summary:
* Lead recruitment activities including sourcing via agencies if required.
* Lead, motivate, and effectively manage, develop and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the task.
* Co-ordination of new hire induction plans, staff training programs and records as and when required.
* Responsible for authorising and tracking absence (leave, sickness etc.), conducting annual performance reviews and review and approve timesheets for direct reports data.
* Maintain department resource forecast tools and proactively liaise with leaders for project resource requirements
* Work in conjunction with Head of Department and Leaders on training and personal development plans for all team members (including ongoing training, review and assessment of Core Competencies and development)
* Primary client interface for all resource placements at client site ensuring the internal Approved Supplier process is followed for any contract resources.
* Ensures that client requirements are optimally and cost effectively resourced with adequately trained and experienced staff to meet client needs through the coordination of a department wide training matrix and the maintenance of a departmental skills matrix.
* Work with Contracts Manager to maintain the Supplier register including up to date CVs, schedules and daily rates for Operations candidates.
* Provide input for continuous improvement to processes, including feedback from Project Lessons Learnt ensuring assigned resources feedback is shared.
* Representation and attendance as required at regular department meetings and client meetings.

Requirements:
* Proven line management experience
* Proven training, coaching and mentoring ability
* Previous experience of resource planning and analysis of data
* Demonstrates a strong flair for innovation to ensure continuous process improvement
* Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and provide solutions
* Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
