A busy and innovative Medical Communications agency is looking for a Digital Account Director for their growing digital/social media team. The Digital Account Director will be a key component in client, business and team growth and will work in partnership with Account Teams across social and digital projects on a day to day basis. You will have digital experience with passion and curiosity and a proven track record of developing ground-breaking digital and social media campaigns.

Alongside your experience and expertise in digital content creation, you will be utilising effective communication skills as you work with internal and external teams to deliver innovative, strategy-first digital campaigns and projects. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients whilst coaching and mentoring the social/digital team and developing the digital knowledge of the other accounts teams.

Role / Description
Main Job Responsibilities:
* Creating intelligent and exciting digital content across a range of platforms.
* Leading the development and delivery of digital strategies, content and programmes.
* Offering advice and counsel at a senior client level.
* Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for organic growth.
* Taking ownership for development of your own expert social media and digital knowledge.
* Taking ownership for development of your ABPI, ABHI, PAGB regulatory code knowledge.
* Working in partnership with the account leads to develop multi-channel digital/social media programmes.
* Overseeing the financial status of all digital/social media projects.
* Ensuring appropriate resourcing of digital/social media accounts.
* Coaching and mentoring client service teams on social media strategy.
* Assisting with recruitment.
* Developing and implementing the digital/social media business strategy.
