Full Time
This is an opportunity to join a fast growing, upwardly mobile technology business who are shaking the tree in the energy market.

They think this is an awesome job. Its a combo of business analyst, data analyst and software developer. Three jobs in one. The beauty of this role is that we are interested in more junior, Graduate level analysts right up to the very experienced and fully formed system configuration specialists.

Fundamentally, you will take client requirements and configure our, frankly brilliant and cunning, systems to meet those client needs. Sounds simple doesn't it? In reality it involves some limited but critical customer liaison, a good deal of analysis of the customers detailed and specific needs followed by an excellent knowledge of their software so that you can configure it to create a bespoke, client branded solution.

So what sort of skills do you need to do this job?
Some SQL would be very helpful, as would a working knowledge of HTML. Someone who has some understanding of the software development lifecycle would be incredibly useful. If you have had exposure to a coding language or two so you can demonstrate that you have created software applications in some form or another, then that would make you especially interesting.

Having good commercial experience, possibly in an agile working environment, some client facing experience and a previous role that was focussed on solutions design and or technical system implementation.

Who are they
Their frankly brilliant, software and consultancy services enable businesses to become new suppliers in the energy market and deliver powerful analytics and business efficiency for existing players. They make joining and thriving in this complex, data driven sector as simple as possible. They demystify it for their clients, allowing them to develop their own business at pace and with confidence.

They know that all companies think they are unique but they feel they really have something a bit special. Whilst their competitors offer elements of what the market needs, they pretty much do it all! As a result, they have had major success in the past few years when their products have hit the market, far exceeding their expectations and that's why they are on the lookout for new people to join their fast expanding team.

There are currently 70 members of staff here in our Nottingham city offices and they have big plans to grow that number throughout 2017/18. That, hopefully, is where you come in!

What is it like to work at this company
It's probably best if they let their employees tell you.
'It's fun'. 'It's a proper team'. 'Fast paced'. 'No red tape'. 'You can make things happen'. 'There is a beer fridge!'. 'Everyone knows everyone'. 'Professional but informal'. 'There is free food!'. 'Great city centre location'. 'There are loads of opportunities to do more than your normal job'. 'It's non-corporate'. 'Everyone gets a day off on their birthday!'
