A busy global PR agency is looking for an Account Director for their Health/Medical brands team to support a number of assigned accounts; building strong relationships with clients, providing direction and development to the project management teams and taking responsibility for client satisfaction.

You will be utilising excellent people and project management skills to manage team budgets, strategy and targets whilst using expert communication to cultivate strategic relationships and develop internal team members. You will also be using effective business development skills to build upon existing relationships with key clients whilst also creating proposals and pitches to seek out new opportunities.

The Account Director is responsible for the overall development of strategic programmes so effective project and financial management skills are essential. Expert communication and leadership skills are crucial, along with a self-motivated and adaptable approach to working.

Main Job Responsibilities:

*Developing strategic programmes including financial arrangements.

*Cultivating new and existing relationships with external stakeholders.

*Taking overall responsibility for the health of assigned accounts.

*Overseeing account finances, budgets and quality control.

*Presenting proposals and pitches.

*Directing, coaching and managing internal team members.

*Assisting with recruitment.

Candidate Requirements:

*Life science degree (BSc or above)

*Experience within a medical communications agency or Health PR team.

*Experience with line management.

*High level of people and project management

*Leadership skills

*Excellent verbal and written communication
