Julia Day is looking for an experienced Medical Affairs Physician to join a global pharmaceutical company to lead and manage the cardiovascular medical team. This is an office based role offered on a permanent basis. Candidates must hold GMC registration with a license to practice.

Responsibilities:
- Design, lead and implement medical strategy in the UK and Ireland
- Lead, manage and develop head office and field based medical affairs teams; providing coaching, training, regular feedback and opportunities for development
- Develop relationships with key external KOLs and TL
- Develop, lead and communicate the implementation of local Medical plans
- Develop and implement a medical governance structure and measure to ensure compliance ensuring specific adherence to the ABPI Code of Practice

Requirements:
- Medically qualified with GMC registration and a license to practice
- Expert understanding and interpretation of the ABPI code of practice and IPHA code and legislation relevant to medico-marketing activities, ideally with experience as a final medical signatory
- Mentoring or management experience
- Ideally you will have experience of cardiovascular medicine although those with the relevant medical affairs experience will be considered
