Barton Peveril College IT Services department develops integrated IT solutions to provide an innovative, accessible and high quality user experience to students and staff.

As part of our IT Services team you will develop and deliver enhancements to all web and database systems. The post-holder is responsible for full-stack development, programming and maintenance of web applications and related systems, ensuring the availability and support of these IT systems.

The IT Services department exists to provide essential support services for IT to all areas of the College. It is the Full Stack Web Developer's responsibility to develop, manage and maintain internal and external college websites, databases and web applications, and the VLE, including working closely with senior leadership, curriculum, and support areas to produce bespoke web solutions and functionality for their specific needs.

You will have an application or web development background with demonstrable skills developing and supporting web applications in the following:

  • PHP
  • HTML5
  • CSS
  • Javascript and jQuery
  • UX Design
  • SQL
  • LAMP stack
