Senior Insight Analyst (Digital)

This is a newly-created role due to team growth, so you won’t be expected to step into someone else’s shoes!
How will you spend your time?
This is a hands-on role and is reporting into the and you will be responsible for helping the team to move to the next part of their strategy where they are establishing frameworks to action the insight they produce and, in turn, personalising the customer experience.
You will be delivering actionable insights so we need the clear ability to tell stories with data and to be able to present your findings and suggestions to the business.
This is very much a data-focussed role, but you will also be working closely with the digital team, marketing team, web analyst and others.
You would also have line-management responsibilities for a more junior member of the team (with opportunities for this to grow and expand organically with the team as a whole).
Who is our ideal candidate?
Our ideal candidate will currently be a working as an Insight Analyst/Insight Manager and will have had some experience within the digital space with a good understanding of optimisation, customer experience, etc.
You would be extremely passionate about data and analytics and have strong opinions on how businesses can take full advantage of its value, with the ability to thing strategically and creatively within a data-driven marketing team.
Experience of working with web analytics tools would be ideal (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Webtrends, etc.) and you should also have experience with SQL Server or SQL interrogation tool.
In an absolutely ideal world, our candidate will have some experience of other tools such as SAS (Enterprise Miner), R, ResponseTap or Sitecore.
