Accounts and Audit job in Manchester for a newly qualified ACCA or ACA accountant working in a public practice accountancy firm.  A fantastic opportunity to join a top 20 Accountancy practice well known for their career progression opportunities.

Our client is a nationally recognised accountancy practice with a reputation for providing exceptional client service across a wide range of sectors including private wealth, real estate, sport and entertainment and corporate consultancy.  Due to recent growth, they are interested in strengthening their team by appointing a new Accounts and Audit Senior

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a growing client portfolio, already around 300, including high net worth individuals, partnerships, trusts, sole traders and ltd companies with turnovers typically ranging between £10m and £100m. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Running group audits
  • Maintaining and enhancing client relationships
  • Preparation of accounts, to include consolidations and cashflow statements
  • Preparation of financial forecast models, business plans, due diligence and other ad hoc projects
  • Liaising with internal departments e.g. Taxation as and when required.
  • Liaising with Partners
  • Supervising and managing junior staff

As the successful Accounts and Audit Senior you will have a strong academic record and be a recently qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with experience in accounts and audit working with clients from a wide variety of sectors. 

You will have a passion for ensuring the highest quality of client management, be able to work cooperatively and motivate others to succeed and be a positive role model for the firm.  Previous experience of Caseware, Viztopia, and Alphatax is preferred but not essential.  

Salary will be between £25k and £40k dependant on experience.
