Up to £35k, central London, exciting opportunity at friendly arts organisation. Design, procure, implement, support and maintain a new information and communications infrastructure to support our ambitious business plan. BUPA, 22 days' annual leave, free concert tickets. Wigmore Hall presents 850 concerts and learning events each year and is currently engaged in an exciting round of technology projects to replace its' technology estate and procure planning software to support reviewed business processes.

Wigmore Hall is a world-leading concert hall, presenting chamber music and song, early music, jazz, 20th century, contemporary and world music. We have an extremely busy Learning department who work to bring music and music making to people of all ages, in a variety of settings, through the provision of projects and programmes of work. We run our own independent live recording label, Wigmore Hall Live, producing CD releases, live and on demand video streaming, high quality digital downloads and AV podcasts that give a deep insight into this precious repertoire and the artists who create and interpret it for our audiences.

We are currently engaged in an exciting round of technology projects to replace our technology estate and procure asset management, concert-management and resource planning software.

We are looking for a diligent, patient and creative System Administrator to join a friendly and relaxed IT department and take ownership of our IT estate as we separate infrastructure management from business applications support and development, creating two new roles.The ideal candidate will hit the ground running, taking an analytical view of our network, services, hosting partners and user needs and helping with the tender process for server infrastructure, switching, backup and associated professional services.

Good writing and communication skills, a patient, kind and professional attitude to user support, familiarity with the systems we use (detailed in job description) and excellent problem solving, research and troubleshooting skills are all essential qualities for this role.
