About the role

Bravura Solutions is currently looking for a Systems Integration Consultant to sit within Bravura’s Technical Services Group.

You will have a diverse set of responsibilities including (but not limited to): support and on-call responsibilities for high profile Bravura clients; BAU technical support; contribute to the overall vision of the function.

This role provides a wealth of opportunity including the ability to develop your technical skills and knowledge within a Global FinTech.

Main activities

  • Solution and Design of system solutions that fulfil service delivery requirements and meet SLA standards
  • Plan and coordinate the successful delivery of complex systems
  • Technical liaison with 3rd party IT infrastructure suppliers
  • Design, develop, automate, deploy, maintain and monitor cloud based and on premise systems
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, scalability and security of cloud based and on premise
  • Establish and promote the adoption of DevOps principles
  • System troubleshooting and problem solving across the platforms and application domains
  • Propose architecture and recommend process improvements
  • Evaluate new technology options and vendor products

To be successful in this role candidates will require

Technical Experience

  • Strong experience as a Redhat Linux and Microsoft Windows Server certified system administrator supporting enterprise computing platforms and systems
  • Strong virtualisation experience
  • Strong experience with public cloud providers such as AWS and Azure using a broad range of their technologies and services
  • Experience supporting customer facing multi-tenant infrastructure (SaaS) or similar cloud related services
  • Solid experience as a Senior DevOps engineer promoting the culture and practices
  • Strong grasp of infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Strong scripting (Shell, Powershell) skills
  • Ability to analyse and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application (Java , .Net) issues
Business Experience

  • An appreciation of the key processes within the Financial industry
  • The ability to appreciate high level business considerations, and adopt appropriate client management strategies
  • An understanding of key regulatory reporting processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Systematic, logical thinker with excellent attention to detail
