Account Manager - Medical Ultrasound
This global provider of cutting edge medical imaging equipment is a world leader in technology across many sectors. It enjoys a dominant position in Canada for many modalities and has a large installed base including some prestigious centres of excellence.
In order to drive growth further the company is now looking to appoint an experienced Ultrasound Account Manager with significant commercial expertise in capital medical / radiology equipment - ultrasound would be ideal.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, this Account Manager position is responsible for total revenue production across the extensive Maritimes and Ottawa Valley territory. This includes direct management of key top performing accounts to maintain consistent revenue growth while effectively representing the company's world class brand in this highly competitive diagnostic imaging market. In this role you will develop strong relationships with existing ultrasound customers as well as identifying potential new sales projects, effectively securing tenders and managing them to a successful close.
The role demands a real hunter, someone who is self-motivated and driven, able to think commercially and plan effectively. You will be results oriented and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will be customer focussed and be able to demonstrate a successful and consistent track record of success in the medical imaging (ideally diagnostic ultrasound) or complex capital medical equipment marketplace. An ideal technical background would be in ultrasound or radiology and could come from previously working as a field service engineer, radiographer, sonographer, radiological technician, clinical application specialist or similar prior to a successful sales career.
