Media Sales Account Manager

If you have experience selling print/digital advertising, are organised, proactive, articulate and consultative in your sales technique then this is the role for you!
We are recruiting for an Account Manager at international media group where you will be responsible for developing both new and existing clients.
Responsibilities as an Account Manager:
- Consultative sales on the telephone and face-to-face around the UK and internationally
- Identify and acquire new customers to generate revenue and increase market share
- Maintain and grow existing accounts, building strong relationships both over the phone and face-to-face
- Understand the needs of the client and sell across the portfolio
- Sell entries/tables at awards as well as spaces in the website directory
- Assist in the monthly planning and production of the publication
- Produce reports and analysis on projects
- Attend industry events and shows both in the UK and internationally
- Review and monitor competitor publications, websites and events to identify new leads
