A top 20 leading pharmaceutical company is looking for a Medical Lead to be based from their offices in Berkshire. The candidate:
*Leads, manages and develops medical affairs team members by providing coaching, training, regular constructive feedback on performance and development
*Provide proactive Medical Affairs input for relevant brands to support business priorities
*Develops and implements a medical governance structure and measures
*Ensure delivery of robust strategy for engagement with external stakeholders which is aligned with Clinical Research activities across the therapy area
*Ensure provision of medical training to field force representatives and other internal customers across several therapy areas
*Identify and implement recommendations for changes to services or procedures within assigned areas to align with business plans and ensure maximum efficiency

Requirements
*Line management, ideally of larger teams consisting of both internal and field based staff
*Extensive experience in Medical Affairs operating at a senior level
*Experience within Cardiology OR Respiratory therapy areas highly desirable (not essential)
*Final signatory not required (desirable), if non certifier, must have experience with the ABPI code and be a reviewer
