Due to our continuing expansion, we have vacancies for Clinical Research Physicians (part and full time) at our Dedicated Research Site in Stockton, Teesside, UK. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential.

Pharmaceutical Medicine is an evolving medical speciality which offers Higher Medical Training and CCT opportunities with Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board. MAC is recognised for this training and offers this opportunity to the suitable candidates.

MAC is also a Designated Body and has its own Appraisal and Revalidation system and Responsible Officer.

Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will be to act as Principal and Co-Investigator to conduct and execute clinical trials mostly in phase 2 and 3. Clinical input will be a vital aspect of this post and you will take on a very significant role as lead physician working with a multi-disciplinary team of research nurses, coordinators and other staff.

Qualifications and Experience:
The candidate must hold full GMC registration (medical doctor) with valid license to practice and have worked for at least 4 years after graduation. A broad range of medical knowledge with excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.

We are ideally looking for candidates with experience in clinical trials and/or with background in general medicine/general practice, psychiatry, orthopaedics, rheumatology, and dermatology as these are the areas in which we conduct many of our clinical trials. However, we will also consider doctors who have experience in other specialties and have transferrable skills.A full range of training will be provided to doctors who have not got any previous experience in this area.

The salary for these posts are in keeping with pharmaceutical industry standards and will reflect experience. This post requires Enhanced Level Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Salary: Competitive + Negotiable £
