As one of the UK’s Top 100 law firms with offices in London, Bristol, Swindon and Bath, Thrings’ strategic growth over the past five years has provided a platform to build on the commercial focus of the firm and to offer the complete service for businesses and their owners. Thrings offers specialist advice in sectors such as Aerospace and Defence, Agriculture, Energy and Waste, Innovation and Technology, and Financial Services from partner-led teams whose expertise matches that found in much larger City firms.
The South West Property Group comprises the firm’s commercial property lawyers in Bristol and Bath. It has been one of the fastest growing teams in the firm, with a fee budget in excess of £3,000,000. Made up of 10 partners/legal directors and 8 other lawyers with a broad range of specialisms, the group offers an opportunity to avoid the ‘pigeon holing’ endemic in some firms and to gain high-quality experience across a range of work types, including development, corporate occupier, secured lending and investment, as well as in its specialist retail/leisure, charities, minerals and healthcare service lines. The team offers excellent client service and significant strength in depth, being supported by other groups inputting specialist construction, planning and property litigation advice. We are supported by an excellent team of seven secretaries. The team has an optimistic outlook, and actively looks to develop the business at all levels to continue its strong organic growth.
