Healthcare Compliance Lead for a leading pharmaceutical company focussed on the implementation of strategic compliance programmes within the UK affiliate.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Our client is looking for a healthcare compliance professional to join their expanding team. Reporting to the local Ethics and Compliance Leader within the country you will ensure that a compliance culture becomes second nature within the company.

You will have the key responsibility for the implementation and continuous improvement of the Ethics & Compliance programme in the local UK affiliate with respect to ABPI Code Compliance and all relevant laws and regulations.

You will lead key compliance projects including HCP/ HCO transparency, data protection, anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies.

You will conduct due diligence on third parties and ensure that they are fully compliant.

You will ensure the company has been trained on all the relevant compliance issues including ABPI Code of Practice updates.

You will work closely and collaborate with the UK Senior Leadership across all functions to become fully integrated within the affiliate

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- An established career in the pharmaceutical industry in a legal or compliance role
- Substantive knowledge and experience with compliance with law, regulations and industry codes relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven influencing ability up to board level
- Previously led change management initiatives
- Demonstrable project management ability handling multiple projects
- Strong cross functional management and collaboration experience
