JOB SUMMARY

Healthcare Compliance Manager for international pharmaceutical company based in the Thames Valley Corridor. Role includes driving ABPI Code adherence

PRIMARY DUTIES

Our global pharma client is looking to recruit a Healthcare Compliance Manager for its UK affiliate. This is a newly created position and reports into the Medical Affairs Director. It is an all encompassing role, ensuring the company remains compliant with particular focus on all healthcare interactions including disclosure, anti-corruption, anti-bribery, data protection and transfer of value

You will be the UK affiliate liaison working with global colleagues ensuring compliance strategies are robust and in place. This includes keeping company SOPs up to date.

You will take the lead on any compliance issues that arise, providing expertise to alleviate potential issues

You will plan and work with the training department to deliver Compliance training including ABPI Code of Practice updates to staff.

You will be the external face of the company at Compliance Meetings e.g. the ABPI Compliance Network.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a Healthcare Compliance position.
- Extensive, deep expertise and knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice.
- Proven project management skills implementing compliance change within previous roles.
- Influencing skills across company to Senior leadership team level.
- Proven ability to work autonomously
