Main function of job

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide admin support to the Recoveries team. The Administrative Assistant will support on a wide range of routine admin tasks and duties.

Supporting the operational and administrative functioning of the Specialist Litigation – Recoveries team

Main Duties:

  • Opening of new clients on databases
  • Opening cases on relevant systems
  • Routine filing
  • File closures
  • Dealing with outgoing post
  • General administrative tasks including, photocopying and ensuring correct changes are applied, general maintenance as and when required

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft products including Excel and database programmes
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent administration / organisational skills
  • A good team spirit with proven team working skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels
  • A positive, enthusiastic and proactive approach to their work
  • Effective personal organisational and time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple demands and prioritise workloads
  • Ability to use judgment and initiative

Qualities Required

A minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade C or above including Maths and English. Obtained a minimum of 3 A Levels or equivalent at grade C or above.
