We are currently recruiting for a market leading Healthcare organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as a Service Lead within the MSK Physiotherapy market. You will be based in local clinics within GP practices and Leisure Centres on the Isle of Wight. The successful candidate will therefore ideally own a car in order to travel to various locations as required, but this is not essential.

Essential Requirements:
Full HCPC membership (not temporary) is essential and must be maintained throughout the duration of the contract.
Full CSP Membership (not student or associate) is essential, and must be maintained throughout the duration of the contract.
You must show proof of continued professional development which evidences the skills /competencies in line with the key skills framework.
A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is essential.
Experience in managing NHS employees is essential
Having an in depth understanding of the clinical reasoning that underpins the McKenzie Method of assessment and treatment is essential
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes is essential.
Post graduate MSc in physiotherapy experience is desirable but not essential.
Experience in delivering hydrotherapy services is desirable but not essential.
60% of this role will be clinical, where you will be required to provide an expert standard of musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessment and treatment
You must have a broad knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal symptomatology and how evidence based practice informs quality treatment management.
Demonstrating commitment for the role, you must possess a strong desire to continually improve as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist, and improve others as musculoskeletal physiotherapists.
You must be comfortable to have regular constructive feedback provided to you by your Network Manager.
You must possess excellent communication skills in order to communicate effectively with a range of people on a range of matters on a daily basis.
You must be comfortable to work independently and maintain the professional image of the company, ensuring you always act in ways that supports equality and values diversity.
You must show evidence of continuing professional development, pursuing excellence in clinical skills, and taking responsibility for your own personal development.
You must have an understanding of the importance of the health, safety and security of patients through abiding by policies, procedures and professional guidelines.
You must be able to work under pressure and manage your time effectively.
A current driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Role Responsibilities:
To abide by HCPC and CSP Codes of Professional Conduct, and work in line with all areas of CSP Core Standards of Practice, as well as our clients policies and procedural framework.
To work as an autonomous practitioner in providing and delivering exceptional neuromuscuoloskeletal physiotherapy assessments and treatment plans to your own designated clinical caseload of patients presenting with various complex conditions, and having the flexibility to travel to any site within Isle of Wight CCG to assess / treat ad-hoc challenging patients.
To act and clinically train others (where needed) to independently assess, analyse and provide a clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention, and act independently to plan, implement, evaluate, treat and progress patient care to maximise rehabilitation potential.
To maintain your clinical practice to ensure you work clinically on a regular basis to maintain your professional registration.
To lead by example and demonstrate excellence in meeting the highest standard of treatment and care including: Understanding each patients' needs and expectations from physiotherapy, and creating a culture where treatment is the same irrespective of their backgrounds and/or beliefs.
To make up to date records, abiding by professional and internal standards and procedures.
Continually evaluating the effectiveness of interventions in meeting agreed goals
To lead the clinical team within this physiotherapy service, to act as a clinical expert and as a point of contact, to provide clinical expertise and advice to all clinical employees working under your lead.
To identify, manage and raise immediately any risks to quality, such as workload, communication, and team working, or any issues regarding service delivery.
To communicate effectively with all stakeholders, (including patients, clinical colleagues, administrative colleagues, receptionists, and external healthcare professionals) in line with the company.
procedures to ensure effective patient management. This may involve working in collaboration with and/or referring to NHS colleagues in hospital and community settings when required.
To be responsible for maintaining own competency to practice through a variety of CPD activities, and maintain a portfolio that reflects personal development.
To be aware of all contractual Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators, and ensure that the community physiotherapy team perform consistently against these.
