We are now looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focussed Account Development/ Sales Specialist who will work closely with our partner HP and their Education Sales team, as well as other Sales and Account Management teams within RM. As Graduate Account Development Consultant/ Sales Specialist you will be the Hardware Product Champion, you will roll up your sleeves and use your excellent influencing and communication skills. The key focus for the role will be to gain new customers through coordinating campaigns, proactive calling, face to face meetings, presentations and events. You will be part of the procurement team who will guide and help you to develop commercial, sales, and customer relationships skills. You will have the opportunity to develop the role within the business, taking customer and stakeholder feedback and using this to change ways of working to deliver best value for the business and customers. The growth of RM Education's hardware business hinges on the ability to effectively target market opportunities and create demand for a select group of products RM sees as being perfect for education. Maximising and generating these opportunities will require a blend of both Marketing and Sales led activities. Success in this role involves engaging with the necessary level of prospects, identifying the required level of sales opportunities, creating maximum demand for the company's key propositions, ensuring that every lead is expertly qualified and converting as many of these opportunities as possible into orders, all with the ultimate aim of exceeding annual sales targets. The holder of this position will have the opportunity to develop the role within the business, taking customer and stakeholder feedback and using this to change ways of working to deliver best value for the business and customers. Key responsibilities Pipeline Management Develop and manage the sales pipeline with a minimum 4 x coverage of contractual sales target Ensures close contact with all opportunities Makes sound decisions as to what to focus time on Accurately predicts deals within a given period Relationship management Build and maintain excellent relationships with key customer facing RM and HP personnel Connect RM and HP teams to identify, qualify and support client hardware opportunities Conduct end user visits with RM and HP sales teams Closing the Sale Progress leads to ensure that RM are in the best possible position to win the business.
