SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS MANAGER Currently recruiting for a Scientific Director for a specialist healthcare communications agency, located in beautiful Surrey along the Thames and within a stone?s throw from the thriving town of Kingston. Responsibilities will include As the Scientific Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the content and writing within the team, including a small amount of writing yourself alongside overviewing the teams? writing whilst mentoring them through the process. Whilst there is no direct line management of the team, the successful candidate will provide consistent guidance and coaching. Whilst some of the projects you will be managing will be distributed into the team via Account Directors, you will also have direct contact with many of the accounts; thus, adding value through your scientific expertise. You will be responsible for all the proof reading of the team?s documents and finally you will be responsible for understanding all the products and relaying that information back to the team. Requirements for the role - Experience as a Principle Medical Writer or Senior Medical Writer - Experience in Proof Reading Scientific documents - Experience in Team management or guiding more junior members of a team - Experience working in a Medical Communications agency - Involvement in Scientific Strategy - Should you be working in-house, then you will have experience in a delivery focused environment What is Offered: Fantastic working environment full of very forward-thinking individuals, very ?blue sky thinking? environment where ideas don?t go unnoticed.
