We have partnered with a beautiful, luxury WW brand currently recruiting a Garment Technologist to join the business.

Key Responsibilities include;

Measuring and photographing SMS samples and setting up spec charts for each new style developed - including but not limited to: 4 x RTW Collections / 2 x Childrenswear Ranges / Bridal and various seasonal capsule collections

Leading production handover meeting, taking all technical and pattern comments approved and ensuring they are documented within tech packs for each style

Review of all PPS samples including creation of measurement charts required for production across the size range

Documenting PPS comments to be relayed to manufacturers for improvement of production garments

Responsible for organization of PPS approval meetings, ensuring manufacturer action points are clearly documented and communicated to production team

Work closely with Quality Controller to immediately flag style specific issues with factories and production teams

Approval of garments from PPS stage into bulk production

Provide technical guidance to Product Development team regarding fabrics and construction as and when needed

Submission, review and approval of fabric test reports and samples

Seasonal review of the company manual adding updates to finishing / fit requirements as needed
Desired skills

Experience of managing multi-product categories including knitwear. Knowledge/experience of childrenswear would be beneficial

Strong understanding of construction, patterns and manufacturing methods

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to manage and prioritize effectively across overlapping seasons and deadlines

Ability to work within a team environment in a fast paced environment and to tight deadlines

Good understanding of Gerber operating system

Italian language would be beneficial
