Contract Type
Full Time
Street Impact Bristol is a partnership set up to deliver Bristol City Councils new Rough Sleeping Initiative. BDP, St Mungo’s and Second Step are working together to stop the ‘revolving door’ experience of 125 of Bristol’s most complex clients.

Although the client group will have the same complexity of need and challenge as those supported by some other local projects, the project will require a more assertive, time-bounded, outcome-focused approach. It has been set up to use investment from a social impact bond with income triggered by achieving outcomes proscribed by the Department for Communities & Local Government - payments only by results.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner to be seconded into this small team and who:

  • Understands how to build enabling personalised relationships with clients.
  • Is able to work assertively, committed to challenging and pushing for tangible and sustained outcomes for this cohort for whom existing services aren’t working.
  • Is able to build effective partnerships with other organisations to achieve lasting change for individuals.
You will be responsible for a caseload, developing multi-agency plans to sustain service users away from the streets - building partnerships and networks across the city to support these 125 individuals to achieve this.

Hours: 37 per week

Contract: 18 months initially

For more information and to apply please see our website Second Step is committed to Equal Opportunities and welcomes applicants from all sections of the community and from people who have personal experience of using mental health services.
