We are currently recruiting for a global consultancy who are first class in all that they do. With a high threshold for quality, underpinned by their investment in staff and service offering to clients, the business operates across Europe, Asia, North America and Middle East advising national and multinational corporations. Based out of their impressive Manchester city centre offices, my client is seeking to add an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to process invoices, expenses, intercompany transactions, control accounts and other related tasks. Duties include:

  • Processing invoices and payments via the electronic banking platform.
  • Reconciling creditor statements and following up with the creditor or spender to ensure invoices are identified and paid in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with staff and suppliers in relation to payments etc, made on their behalf.
  • Processing the Amex and Natwest credit cards.
  • Provide support with the company's expense process.
  • Processing the various control account reconciliations required of the department.
  • Assistance with the various Bank Reconciliations, ensuring items are not outstanding.
  • Assisting with cross charging within the various overseas offices.
  • General Ad-hoc duties.

Excellent knowledge of Excel is essential along with a steady work history and academic record. You will have outstanding communication skills as you will be expected to communicate across the business at all levels.
