AR and Arrears Assistant

Location: Bristol City Centre

Team: Finance

Working Hours: 37.5 per week, between the hours of 8.30am and 5pm

Salary: Competitive

  • Your hands on experience within debt collection will see you hit the ground running
  • As you'll be handling important data, you'll need good Excel and data entry skills
  • Fantastic prioritisation skills and a passion for seeing things through
  • An excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
  • Most of all, you'll be someone who can respect, encourage and connect with the people you work with and the students who live with us

What you'll get up to as an AR and Arrears Assistant

To give you an idea what to expect, you'll be:

  • Calling our students and their guarantors to chase down outstanding debt
  • Taking payments from students, making sure their accounts are updated
  • Helping our students to manage debt by advising on and setting up payment plans
  • Liaising closely with our operational teams to help them manage outstanding payments
  • Supporting colleagues within the Accounts Receivable team when required, to ensure collective team and company targets are met
  • Acting as an expert for our arrears process; being on hand to answer queries
  • Keeping the business up to date on outstanding payments by producing regular reports
  • The student experience is at the forefront of everything we do, so you'll be passionate about delivering top customer service
