Following a reorganisation of roles we are looking to appoint a full-time Personal Assistant to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Director of Marketing & Communications.You'll need excellent organisational and time management skills and superb written and spoken communication skills. Discretion and confidentiality are essential attributes.

You will often act as the Director’s first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisation, and respond to queries on their behalf in a calm and professional manner. Accuracy and attention to detail are very important.

Day-to-day tasks include:

Managing multiple email accounts; replying and signposting queries appropriatelyAnswering phone calls, enquiries and requests, often corresponding on behalf of the DirectorProactively managing diaries and arranging meetingsOrganising travel arrangementsManaging financial administration such as coding invoices and expenditureCompiling agendas and writing action points from meetingsPreparing documents, briefing papers and lettersKey details:

35 hours per week (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm)Salary: Band D (Starting at £21,173)Defined Contribution Group Personal Pension Plan and Healthcare Cash Plan after six months22 days holiday per annum, plus statutory bank holidays and discretionary Christmas holidayStart date: As soon as possibleThe role is based at Diocesan House in Easton near Norwich (NR9 5ES)Closing date for applications: 12noon on Thursday 30 November 2017
