Role We are looking for an experienced .Net Developer to join our development team to build cutting edge systems. You will be joining us during a significant time of change in the pension's landscape as the regulator develops new greenfield sites and updates to the latest technology. This opportunity offers the chance to work with the latest Microsoft technologies and JavaScript frameworks, whilst developing a mix of web based applications and critical business systems. The ideal candidate will have significant commercial experience developing on the .Net platform and have a strong desire to develop their technical and soft skill set. Responsibilities You will: * Be responsible for analysing, implementing and testing application and database functionality as directed by the Lead .Net/SQL Developer * Develop and maintain Web Applications, Web Services and back-office systems * Contribute to team discussions, planning and processes Essential * Excellent knowledge of C# and .Net framework * Experience of building web applications * Good understanding of relational databases (SQL Server/T-SQL) * Experience of using testing frameworks (e.g. use of Nunit and Moq) Desirable * Experience of Asp.Net MVC and Asp.net * Experience of JavaScript (Angular 2, TypeScript, or React) * Experience of developing restful Web Services Competencies * Identify, prioritise and plan effectively - Experienced * Deliver appropriate outcomes in line with our objectives - Experienced * Evaluate, learn, adapt and improve - Experienced * Understand our audience - Experienced * Communicate clearly - Mentor * Build good working relationships - Experienced * Respect others - Experienced * Take responsibility - Experienced * Behave professionally - Experienced Salary and benefits As well as a salary of up to 44,612, we offer: * Civil Service Pension arrangements, which are recognised as some of the best in the pensions world * discretionary bonus arrangements * generous annual leave provision * flexible working arrangements * development opportunities * enhanced parental leave arrangements * a free employee assistance programme * an excellent office location.
