Retail Marketing Manager – Big Leisure Brand

A fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Manager now exists within a highly regarding leisure brand based in Hertfordshire. A Marketing Manager with a diverse skillset across all forms of marketing and from a retail or hospitality background is desirable.

This is a newly created role and will suit a Marketing Manager who enjoys taking responsibility and ownership within a fun and engaging environment. You will have the freedom to set your own agenda and to make a big impact on a diverse retail operation with your enthusiasm, creativity and new ideas.

The two key elements of this role will be to: -

1.Develop and manage the rollout of the company's retail marketing plan across all our retail operations, via the many channels available in order to drive footfall and profits

2.To manage the end to end menu production programme for all restaurants from the creative through giving pricing recommendations to the Commercial Finance team for modelling.

Reporting to the Retail Director, key responsibilities will include:

·Identify opportunities through using all available and relevant market, consumer and competitor analysis

·Be responsible for the development and implementation of all retail marketing strategies, managing the whole customer communications journey with regards to Retail at every touchpoint from initial contact to on park

·Internal communications to the wider business about what's going on in Retail

·To confidently project manage all menu cycles, point of sale and bespoke menus to ensure a streamlined and efficient process

·Evaluate, improve and manage the social media and internet-focused marketing strategy in conjunction with the digital marketing teams

·Manage and build good working relationships with key agencies and other in house marketing and creative teams

·Supporting the wider retail team in the delivery of the annual sales and profit targets

·Clearly define best practice for the use of marketing and promotional materials

·Managing all the retail marketing budgets

The Successful Candidate:

·Graduate calibre with proven experience in a similar role at a senior level ideally within the restaurant / hospitality sector

·Must be fully conversant with design and print processes

·Have the ability to take insight data and make strategic recommendations as a result

·Must be confident working independently and as part of a multi-functional team, 'owning' your projects to see all projects and campaigns through to completion

·Must demonstrate a real can do attitude and willing to provide excellent service to all key stakeholders

·Must have strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to tight deadlines

·A forward thinking 'people person' with ability to inspire and influence others

·Should be commercially aware and able to interpret commercial data

·Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills

·As a very large proportion of this role will revolve around our restaurants - there needs to be a real passion for food
