Deskside Support Analyst - Law firm, 1st/2nd line, Windows

Deskside Support Analyst required by fast growing law firm to join their IT team providing 1st/2nd line support to users from their office based in Central London. As a Deskside Support Analyst you'll work in a team responsible for delivering a high quality support service to users of all levels on a variety of IT issues including Windows OS, MS Office, Email / User Accounts, mobile devices, laptops and PCs, and more.

Candidates must demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills, combined with a focus on customer service. You should be passionate about meeting user's requirements using the right resources and applying commercial insight to help meet their needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Working on the service desk receiving and resolving support calls & emails
  • Creating user accounts, updating/resetting passwords, administering systems access
  • Troubleshooting problems remotely and escalating internal service desk related issues to onsite technicians if required
  • Providing work-arounds and solutions to get users working quickly
  • Escalating advanced calls to more senior members of the IT Team
  • Keeping users up to date on the progress of their issues
