Purchase Ledger Clerk - Birmingham - 3 month contract - immediate start - £10 per hour
We are working with our Birmingham-based client who are seeking an additional Purchase Ledger Clerk for their finance team to support a busy period. This will be a 3 month role operating from their manufacturing site just outside of the City Centre.
The Purchase Ledger Clerk role is a great opportunity to join a business that experiencing high levels of commercial growth activity. It will be a busy and challenging period to work with them.
Specifically, the role will involve the following tasks:
- Processing purchase orders and GRNIs
- Resolution of supplier queries
- Journal posting
- Account reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of payment runs
- Ledger updates for end of month activity
- Ad hoc admin and sales support tasks
The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be needed for a period of around 3 months.
The successful Purchase ledger Clerk will need a solid base in all aspects of invoice processing, with a positive and enthusiastic personality. You will have solid foundations in all aspect of invoice processing and dealing with payments in a busy office environment. Our client is happy to consider someone wanting more flexible daily working hours.
