Oxbridge Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

Are you an Oxbridge or Russell Group graduate, aspiring to become a future primary teacher, but keen to gain paid experience in a primary teaching assistant role first?

Perhaps as a high achieving Oxbridge graduate you are interested in supporting young learners to achieve their potential, enabling them to have a high quality of education in order to prepare them for secondary school?

Oxbridge Graduates and Russell Group graduates wanted for a lovely three-form entry, inner-city Birmingham primary school for a primary teaching assistant role!

  • Invaluable paid experience
  • Pre-teacher training or Pre-Ed Psych experience
  • £60 - £65 per day
  • Inner-city Birmingham school
  • Close to public transport links
  • Potential to train to teach with this school next year
  • Full time Mon-Fri hours

Excellent Oxbridge graduates and Russell Group graduates are wanted at this exceptional primary school for the full academic year in a support role in the first instance, gaining experience of what it takes to be a teacher throughout the year. You will be given the opportunity to run small group interventions in core subjects including maths and English, but also in social skills and speech and language for some SEN learners. This insight in to education is a superb opportunity for aspiring teachers and educational psychologists as the experience you will have throughout the academic year will put you in a fantastic position to get a place on either the school's teacher training, a PGCE, or even an educational psychology course.

The head teacher has high expectations of her staff and learners and feels that the addition of two Oxbridge and/or Russell Group graduates will enable learners to have access to outstanding support. If you have a passion to inspire young people and to support children to reach their potential regardless of their background then this school would love to meet you!

If you think you have the right skills and qualities to make a difference in this role, then click APPLY NOW and send your CV to Jamie at i-teachers now.
