Cyber Security Consultant/Cyber Security Delivery Analyst/Cyber Security Analyst An opportunity has arisen for an Cyber Security Analyst/Cyber Security Delivery Consultant to join a highly successful Financial Services company in the City (London). A background in Financial Services would benefit however is NOT essential as long as applicants have demonstrable experience within the cyber security environment and experience of working within an operational/project IT environment. The Cyber Security Consultant will support the Technical Architect and Head of Service Delivery in maintaining our clients Cyber Security strategy. You will work with 3rd party vendors in managing and maintaining the Group's cyber security platforms. As a Cyber Security Delivery Analyst you will be working in collaboration with the Change Process, Business Application support and a number of 3rd party vendors in addition to the main infrastructure outsource partner. You will have experience of managing cyber security services specifically in relation to service design and on-going management. Key experience for the Cyber Security Delivery Consultant: Microsoft technologies VMware Technologies Cyber technologies Experience supporting networks (WAN/LAN/VPN etc.) would be advantageous. SIEM Tools/MSSP services Social Engineering Proven experience in cyber security Strong analytical and diagnostic skills. Proven experience in 3rd Party supplier & vendor selection and management. Vulnerability checks using multiple intelligence gathering sources and provide written summaries of threat and vulnerability information. Maintaining awareness and knowledge of contemporary standards, practices, procedures and methods Significant experience and success in managing multiple issues, problems and work streams with a clear ability to prioritise Proven ability to assist with and see through to implementation and operation, technology solutions for complex projects. IT operational and platform knowledge with an emphasis on IAAS and virtual platforms. Understanding of general information security concepts and principles Ability to consider the bigger picture, including the implications of process change and the potential impact upon the strategies of the group businesses. Maintain the integrity of process and approach, as well as controls, for the whole incident management process including the ability to coordinate and manage major/highly sensitive investigations with potential for business wide impact/reputational damage. The Cyber Security Consultant should come from a technical background as significant elements of the role will involve liaising with the Group's cyber security application vendors, and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Group-retained security tools and vendor-supplied services. The Cyber Security Delivery Analyst will also work with the Group's Technical Architect to plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to technical project deployments.
