Accounts Receivable Lead

Accountable for ensuring payments are received and processed accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all work done within the division meets compliance standards. Adhere to processes and use of system that are implemented globally.

The Duties:

The responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure cash is received and allocated accurately, monitor adherence to credit control policies, performing reconciliations on accounts and handling customer enquiries as and when appropriate.
  • Meet required month end schedules by performing inter company, reconciliations and clearing in and efficient and timely manner.
  • Operate associated controls to ensure compliance needs are met
  • Support internal and external audit requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for Accounts Receivables function
  • Build strong relationships with key business partners and collaborate effectively to resolve any issues
  • Escalate issues to the team lead in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Drive business performance improvement through usage of Key Performance Indicators, partnering with the business
  • Identify ways to continually improve processes, the level of service to our business customers and the value to management.
  • Provide support to team lead and peers within GBS function as needed, this may include cross-functional support outside of Accounts Receivable
  • Other Ad-hoc activities as and when required for your level

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelors Degree or Accounting Qualification

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years Accounts Receivables, with experience in a Shared Services environment being a considerable plus
  • Worked in global/multinational FMCG or Pharmaceutical environment
  • Preferred if a minimum of 1 years experience using SAP.
