Our client, a successful company based in Northamptonshire, is looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk / Credit Controller to join their team on a full time temporary basis.

The ideal candidate must be immediately available or on short-notice.

You will be responsible for the Processing of Customer Receipts and Allocating Cash:

* Chasing payment for Customer Invoices
* Obtaining remittance advices and allocating customer payments
* Preparing and posting sales deductions journals
* Resolving invoice queries
* Raising adjustments and sundry invoices in response to customer queries
* Ensuring all customer account and transactional information is filed for audit purposes

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

* Numerate and literate with excellent attention to detail
* Sales Ledger Clerk experience within busy environment is desired
* Experience of processing and allocating Customer Payments
* Experience of dealing with stakeholders inside and outside of finance
* Good communication skills across the team and externally where appropriate
* Willingness to learn and support the wider team with day to day duties
