Team Profile

Wood Mackenzie is a knowledge business and this role sits in the Marketing Group, under Global Consulting Marketing. The team works closely with senior consulting stakeholders, sales, and corporate and regional marketing teams.

Role Purpose

The Consulting Marketing Executive will plan, execute and deliver all aspects of the Global Marketing Program for Wood Mackenzie's Consulting group to create awareness of new offerings, generate leads and support the Consulting team.

Main Responsibilities

Campaign planning and execution of global consulting marketing programs

  • Work with the Director of Consulting Marketing to develop the marketing strategy for global marketing programs
  • Plan and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns liaising with Corporate Marketing, Regional Marketing, Consulting heads and key stakeholders such as Consulting, Research and Sales
  • Manage marketing communications working closely with PR for increasing brand awareness
  • Track effectiveness of campaigns and managing feedback channels, using information to make recommendations to improve the strategy
  • Support Consulting revenue targets
  • Work with the Consulting heads to record and report on leads & revenue generated by global marketing efforts, and regional cross sell
  • Evaluate and report back on every campaign or event, and build lessons learned into future activity
  • Reconcile consulting opportunities with campaign activity to identify marketing influence
  • Build positive, supportive cross-functional relationship with Consulting team
  • Work closely with the Consulting team to provide marketing tools and collateral
  • Tailor campaigns and events appropriately for the offerings and clients
  • Follow up on opportunities with the Consulting team
  • Work closely and constantly with the Consulting team to ensure market and client needs are reflected in marketing activity

  • Technical skills – Knowledge and working ability to use marketing automation techniques to deliver campaigns; experience in Salesforce and Pardot (or similar) will be an advantage.
