Purchase Ledger Controller


Salary £18,000 - £20,000

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic international organisation as a Purchase Ledger Controller. The position will be situated with a small finance team of 4, each with there own departments. The role involves having sole responsibility for the full accounts payable process such as posting invoices, matching and batching high volume invoices, statement reconciliations and dealing with any queries. The ideal candidate will be hard working, able to show initiative and an excellent communicator.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role are:

* Daily processing of invoices
* Coding
* Payment runs
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Reconciliation of Purchase Ledger
* Chasing documentation and credit notes
* Processing employee expense claims

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of working within a high volume, fast paced purchase ledger environment, be self motivated and organised, have a good knowledge of Excel and have great customer service skills. Cultural fit is very important as the role is working within a small accounts team - personality and a good sense of humour is a must!
