We are a friendly, dynamic and growing hospitality group, based in Covent Garden. We are recruiting a full time Office Manager/ Bookkeeper with a minimum of 4 years’ experience to work within our head office team.
Office Manager / bookkeeper duties include:·Entering financial information into appropriate software programs (sales, invoices, credits, timesheets)·Reviewing orders; liaising with suppliers·Preparing weekly and monthly reporting·Completing bank reconciliation·Cash management: petty cash, balancing safe, administering expenses and invoices ·General administration duties in connection with maintaining HR/financial records·Salaries / PAYE·Collating new starter information (p45/46) ·VAT return production and reconciliations·Managing / monitoring office communication (via email) ·Liaising with management team of our key venues·Other adhoc duties
The position requires good all round administrative ability so excellent English language and communication skills [both written and verbal] are required. The applicant must be able to deal with their own correspondence and work on their own initiative without supervision.
The candidate must also be computer literate. Experience in retail or hospitality industry and knowledge of HR desirable.
