Robert Half have been engaged to work on a piece of recruitment with a leading employer based in Street, Somerset. They are looking to appoint an accomplished Credit Control Clerk to join their business for 3-6 months to cover internal secondment - the role is available to start ASAP.

Role: Credit Control Clerk

Location: Street (BA16)

Duration: 3-6 Months

Salary: £10ph

Reporting into the Credit Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of customers ensuring payment terms are adhered to
  • Setting up new customers and agreeing credit limits
  • Raising an issuing sales invoices
  • Allocation of incoming cash
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to collect overdue payments
  • Review credit limits
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Investigating invoice and aged debt queries

To be considered you will need the following experience and skill set

  • Solid understanding of Credit Control and Sales Ledger
  • The ability to work in a friendly Finance Team
  • Comfortable utilising the Microsoft range
  • Strong team player
  • Keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy
