To provide accurate and timely accounts payable services for the Toy Group companies.

Client Details

My client is a world famous Toy Shop based in Central London.

Description

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

*Responsibility for Accounts Payable processing (USD stock and sometimes GBP stock);

*Preparation of weekly payment proposals;

*Processing a high volume of stock invoices on the stock management system against goods received and purchase orders;

*Maintenance and reconciliation of accounts payable balances in both IP/SUN systems;

*Processing regular batch supplier payments raised in the stock management system and financial management system and loading these batch payments onto banking/third party facility systems, with relevant supporting documents provided to payment authorisers;

*Issuing remittance advice to suppliers;

*Liaising with the Buying Department regarding resolution of price and unit queries;

*Liaising with third party facility provider in respect of ad hoc invoice/supplier queries;

*Close monitoring of unmatched receipt and unmatched invoices levels;

*Regular reconciliation of supplier statements, liaison and dispute handling with suppliers, maintaining system supplier details.

*Accounts Receivable:

*Raising monthly/ad hoc invoices (e.g. calculating amounts due, raising debtor amounts in SUN system, creating invoice documents to send to customers);

*Regular internal reconciliation of customer accounts, preparing statements for customers, liaison and dispute handing with customers, maintaining customer details.

*Other:

*Scanning of invoices, filing and general administration;

*Supporting Assistant Financial Accountant with bank reconciliations of supplier payments and customer receipts;

*Supporting Group Accountant with ad hoc tasks (e.g. supplier/customer analysis as required)*

Profile

Key Attributes:

*Previous Stock Accounts Payable experience in a high volume environment;

*Strong Microsoft Excel skill set;

*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook;

*Experience with Island Pacific merchandising system desirable;

*Experience with SUN Systems accounting package desirable.

Job Offer

£15,000 per annum

£25,000 pro rata
