From our busy Luton base, we successfully manufacture and dispatch over 1,000 garage doors across the UK per week.

As our business expands, we are now looking for an additional experienced commercially focussed Management Accountant, ideally with Microsoft Navision knowledge, to take responsibility for the day to day accounting function within one of our business areas.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for performing bank reconciliations, preparing monthly management accounts, analysing variance and overheads and producing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packs for Head Office.

Duties and responsibilities of the role:

·Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, journal generating, accruals and prepayment preparation

·Bank and invoice discounting reconciliations

·Preparation and reporting of accounts receivable and payable

·Payment allocations

·Variance analysis

·Overhead analysis

·Weekly and Monthly payroll

·Posting daily cash

·Providing cover for members of the finance team

·Producing and reporting information for national statistics

·Production of weekly/ monthly/ quarterly and annual reporting packs to Head office.

·Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting

·Managing stock takes.

The ideal candidate will have:

·Proven experience working as a Management Accountant

·Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Navision

·Expert knowledge of Excel and the MS Office suite – including Pivot tables, V lookups, formula creation etc

·Excellent maths, data analysis and statistical skills

·A conscientious and responsible outlook

·Attention to detail and be results orientated

·Ability to prioritise own workload and used to working in a fast paced environment

·Manufacturing industry exposure would be an advantage but not essential
