Winners are working with a highly recognised organisation in order to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the Purchase and Sales Ledger function in their growing and developing finance team.

Based in modern, well-appointed offices in Penryn and reporting to the Financial Controller this is a busy and varied role that is key to the continued success of the finance team.

The purpose of this role is to provide and accurate logging/receipting of monies in and timely payment of funds out of the business.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

Acknowledging and receipting payments

Logging monies received on to financial reporting system

Updating cleared funds for cashflow

Matching and coding invoices

Batch invoices

Supplier statements

Logging and updating supplier information

Processing invoices for approval for payment by Financial Controller

Already experienced in a transactional accounting role this position would suit either an experienced purchase or sales ledger clerk looking for a more challenging and varied appointment or an experienced accounts assistant seeking a change of industry.

You will demonstrate a high level of accuracy, numeracy and literacy, be a confident communicator with great organisation and solid working command of MS Office products (specifically MS Excel).

This role will be offered as a permanent or temp/perm contract on a part time basis, 24 hours per week - the distribution of hours to be negotiated.
