Purchase Ledger Clerk
I am currently recruiting for a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk role based in South East London. This is working for a large media company to cover a maternity leave for six months.
My client is a large leading media owner in the UK. They enable brands to engage their valuable urban audiences on the move through their unrivalled use of data and insight. Their sites include London's key transport networks and retail environments, including the TfL Rail Estate and both Westfield shopping centres. Their National Rail and Bus assets also provide them with a significant presence across the UK's urban areas.
They are looking to add a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk to assist their busy finance team for a maternity leave.
Purchase Ledger Clerk, South East London
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Processing, coding and authorising invoices on a daily basis
- Bank Reconciliations
- Supplier Statement Reconciliations
- Processing Petty Cash Cheques
- Processing staff expense claims
- Assisting the Management Accountant with ad hoc tasks for month end.
Must be immediately available or maximum 1 week notice period.
Previous exposure to the above responsibilities is desirable.
Previous exposure working on accounting software is desirable eg. SAP, Sage Line 50, Sage 200, Oracle
The successful candidate will be offered between £10-14 per hour depending on experience. This is a temporary role for 6 months to cover a maternity leave.
